If you are planning to travel abroad check your destination at www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk for any vaccinations/Malaria tablets you may require. If you have a record of previous immunisations, you can use this to see if you are covered for your trip. Majority of Malaria tablets require a private prescription which can then be taken to your local chemist.
If you are not covered or are unsure download and complete a pre-travel form . It is preferable if you return the form 6 - 8 weeks prior to travel.
Your travel plans, medical history and vaccination status will be reviewed and you will be offered up to date personalised advice.
Even if it transpires that you do not need to receive vaccinations you could be charged for this service.
