PODIATRY

Podiatry is a medical specialty which diagnosis and treats foot related problems of patients with an assessed risk; providing education and support for self management in order to promote foot health.

Podiatry services do not provide nail cutting.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Helpline is a phone service for people experiencing symptoms of MSK disorders - such as back pain or sports injuries.

Phone 0800 917 9390 (9:00 amd to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday). Calls are free from landlines and mobiles.

 

FIRST CONTACT PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Go direct to a physio without seeing a doctor

If you have a muscle, back or joint problem the first contact physio will assess you and diagnose what's happening

Give expert advice on how best to manage your condition

Refer you on to specialist services if necessary

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING NURSE

Your Mental Health & Wellbeing needs attention, just like your Physical Health & Wellbeing. Whether it's relationship or money worries, caring for someone or do you just need someone to talk to?

We have Mental Health & Wellbeing nurses attached to the practice , here specifically to support you with Health & Wellbeing concerns that may be affecting your mental health. After chatting with you they may be able to offer suggestions on ways to improve your wellbeing, which can be affected by lots of different things.

SOCIAL PRESCRIBER

We have a Social Prescriber linked to the Practice who can support and signpost patients to community based activities such as physical activity, learning new skills, volunteering, art therapy, befriending and self-help.
